How to Color and Highlight Text
You can color any text in your book, from a single word to a whole paragraph, and add a highlight behind it. Both controls live in the formatting toolbar that appears when you select text.
Color the Text
- Select the text you want to color, from one word to a full paragraph
- Click Text color in the formatting toolbar (the A with a color bar under it)
- Pick a color
To remove the color, open Text color again and choose No Color.
Highlight the Text
- Select the text you want to highlight
- Click Highlight color in the formatting toolbar (the highlighter icon)
- Pick a color
To remove the highlight, open Highlight color again and choose Transparent.
Coloring a Whole Paragraph
Both controls apply to whatever you have selected, so to color an entire paragraph, select all of it first. A highlight applied to a full paragraph fills the line behind the text, which is a simple way to call out a passage.
