How to Customize Section Subtitles

Section subtitle styling gives you complete control over how your subtitles appear throughout your book.

Typography

The typography section controls the core text properties of your section subtitles:

  • Font — Choose from hundreds of professional typefaces
  • Size — Set the exact size in points
  • Letter Spacing — Adjust the spacing between characters in pixels

Alignment

Control how your section subtitles are positioned on the page:

  • Left — Align subtitles to the left margin
  • Center — Center subtitles on the page
  • Right — Align subtitles to the right margin

Text Formatting

The text formatting section lets you apply style and transformation options:

  • Style — Choose between Regular, Italic, Bold, or Bold Italic
  • Transform — Set text to Normal, CAPS, or lowercase

Outer Spacing

Control the space around your section subtitles:

  • Top — Set the spacing above the subtitle in pixels
  • Bottom — Set the spacing below the subtitle in pixels

Underline

Add an underline to your section subtitles for extra emphasis:

  • Enable Underline — Toggle the underline on or off
  • Underline Words — Underline just the text itself
  • Full Width — Extend the underline from the left side of the page to the right side
