How to Create a Call-Out Box

  1. Select the content you want to highlight
  2. Click the call-out box icon in your editor toolbar
  3. View your content with borders applied

What Can Go Inside a Call-Out Box

Call-out boxes aren’t limited to plain text. You can place most elements inside them to add borders around:

  • Blockquotes — Give quoted text extra visual emphasis
  • Images — Frame photos or illustrations with a border
  • Handwriting — Highlight letters, notes, or diary entries

This flexibility lets you create bordered sections for any content that needs to stand out.

Customizing Appearance

Call-out box styling is controlled by your style settings. You can create presets to apply consistent border styles across all call-out boxes in your book.

Finding Call-Out Boxes

Use the Elements tab in the section sidebar to find all call-out boxes in your book and jump directly to any of them.
