How to Use the Edit Styles Menu

Edit Styles is where you change how your whole book looks: drop caps, indents, section titles, chapter numbers and more. Each item opens a panel, and the preview shows your changes as you make them.

Edit Styles is in the header bar, between New Style and Print Settings. The palette button in the strip down the right side opens the same menu.

When to use the Edit Styles menu

Use it for a change you want in every section: every drop cap, every chapter number, every section title. To change one section only, use that section’s Options menu.
