Book-wide Style Options

Book-wide options let you configure style settings that apply consistently across your entire book, rather than to individual sections or elements.

Disable Indentations for All Chapters

By default, all chapter types have drop caps and indentation built into them. If you do not want indentation on your chapters, enable this option to remove automatic indentation from all numbered and unnumbered chapter types.

Paragraph Spacing

Control the space between paragraphs throughout your book. Which setting applies depends on whether a section has indentation enabled.

• Indented Paragraph Spacing — Controls the space between paragraphs in sections that have indentation enabled. Set this value in pixels. By default, indented paragraphs have no extra spacing since the indent itself provides visual separation.

• Non-Indented Paragraph Spacing — Controls the space between paragraphs in sections that do not have indentation. Set this value in pixels to add separation between paragraphs.

Note

All chapter types have indentation enabled by default. You can enable or disable indentation on any individual section through the section style settings.
