How to Style Text Message Conversations

Style how text message conversations appear throughout your book.

Container Spacing

Control the spacing around the entire conversation block:

Horizontal — Space to the left and right of the conversation
Vertical — Space above and below the conversation

Bubble Styles

Customize the appearance of message bubbles:

Bubble Color — Choose from Blue, Green, Gray, Purple, or Clear
Font Size — Set the size of the message text inside bubbles
Roundness — Control how rounded the bubble corners are

Bubble Spacing

Control the spacing inside and between bubbles:

Horizontal — Internal left and right padding within bubbles
Vertical — Space between individual message bubbles

Name Positioning

Choose where participant names appear:

Top — Name appears above the bubble
In Bubble — Name appears inside the bubble
Inline — Name appears inline with the message

Repeat Names

Enable this option to automatically show the name on every bubble from the same person. If disabled, the name only appears on the first message in a sequence.

Name Styles

Customize how participant names appear:

Font Size — Set the size of the name text
Format — Choose Normal, CAPS, lower, or Title case
Spacing — Control the top and bottom padding around the name

Delivery Receipt Styles

Customize how delivery receipts appear:

Font Size — Set the size of the receipt text
Format — Choose Normal, CAPS, lower, or Title case
Spacing — Control the top and bottom padding around the receipt
