Manage Book Sections
The Sections tab displays your entire book as a visual spine. Click any section to jump there instantly, or drag and drop to rearrange your manuscript.
Drag and Drop Reorganization
- Blue insertion line - Shows exactly where the section will land
- Semi-transparent preview - See the section you’re moving
- Table of Contents updates automatically when you rearrange
Context Menu Actions
Right-click any section for instant options:
- Duplicate - Create a copy for variations or templates
- Move to Top/Bottom - Reposition with one click
- Delete - Remove sections (fully reversible)
- Set Device Type - Control whether the section appears only in EPUB, only in print, or both
- Properties - Access formatting and behavior settings
- Insert Before/After - Add new sections precisely where needed
Book Parts
For longer manuscripts, organize chapters into parts:
- Group related chapters together
- Collapse/expand parts for cleaner navigation
- Drag entire parts to reorganize major sections
