Add Links to Your Book

Links enhance your book by connecting readers to additional resources, websites, and references.

Creating Links

1. Select the text you want to turn into a link
2. Click the link icon in your editor toolbar or press Ctrl+K
3. Enter the URL in the dialog that appears
4. Click Save to create your link

Selection

Make sure to highlight all the text you want to turn into a link before clicking the button.

Editing and Removing Links

To edit a link:

1. Select the existing link
2. Click the link icon or press Ctrl+K
3. Modify the text or URL as needed

To remove a link:

1. Select the link
2. Click the link icon
3. Choose the remove option

Testing Links

Links are fully functional in preview mode - click them to test they work correctly before publishing.

Link Requirements

Use complete URLs with https:// or http://. Only text can be linked - images cannot be turned into clickable links.
