Physical books can’t have clickable links, so Lacuna automatically converts links to display their full URL in print-ready PDFs. For example, a link with text “Visit my website” pointing to https://example.com will show the URL in your printed book.

To manually control link appearance in print:

  1. Create a device-specific section for print only
  2. Type out the URL text exactly how you want it to appear
  3. Keep the original EPUB section with the clickable link

This is useful for sections like About the Author pages, where you want different formatting for print versus digital versions.
