Text Formatting Shortcuts
Once you’re familiar with the editor toolbar, these shortcuts and quick access methods will help you format text more efficiently without interrupting your writing flow.
Bubble Menus
When you select text, a bubble menu automatically appears with the most commonly used formatting options:

How to use bubble menus:
- Select the text you want to format
- Click any option in the bubble menu that appears
- Continue writing - the menu disappears automatically
Best for: Quick formatting changes without reaching for the main toolbar.

All basic formatting uses standard shortcuts that work across most applications:

How to Use Shortcuts
For existing text:
- Select the text you want to format
- Press the keyboard shortcut
- Continue formatting or writing
For new text:
- Position your cursor where you want to start
- Press the keyboard shortcut to activate formatting
- Type your text with the formatting applied
- Press the shortcut again to turn off formatting
