Format Tables in Your Book

Tables help you present structured information clearly, perfect for reference sections, data, or organized lists in your manuscript.

Creating Tables

Tables are automatically detected when you import your manuscript. If your document contains tables, Lacuna will preserve them during import.

To add a new table:

  1. Position your cursor where you want the table
  2. Click the table icon in your editor toolbar
  3. Add your content to the table cells

Finding Tables

Use the Elements tab in the section sidebar to find all tables in your book and jump directly to any of them.

Customizing Appearance

Table styling is controlled by your style settings. You can create presets to quickly apply consistent formatting across all tables in your book.
