Format Call-Out Boxes

Call-out boxes add visual emphasis to special content by placing borders around text, images, or both. Use them to highlight important information or create visual interest in your book.

Creating Call-Out Boxes

Call-out boxes are not detected during import, so you’ll add them directly in the editor.

To create a call-out box:

1. Select the text or image you want to highlight
2. Click the call-out box icon in your editor toolbar
3. View your content with borders applied

Content Flexibility

Call-out boxes can contain text, images, or a combination of both for maximum flexibility in your formatting.

Finding Call-Out Boxes

Use the Elements tab in the section sidebar to find all call-out boxes in your book and jump directly to any of them.

Customizing Appearance

Call-out box styling is controlled by your style settings. You can create presets to quickly apply consistent border styles across all call-out boxes in your book.
