Format Book Quotes

Blockquotes help emphasize important passages and create visual variety in your manuscript.

Creating Blockquotes

1. Select the text you want to format as a blockquote
2. Click the blockquote icon in your editor toolbar
3. View your formatted blockquote instantly

Selection

Make sure to highlight all the text you want in the blockquote before clicking the button.

Finding Blockquotes

Use the Elements tab in the section sidebar to find all blockquotes in your book and jump directly to any of them.

Customizing Appearance

Blockquote styling is controlled by your theme settings. You can customize:

• Font and font size
• Alignment and spacing
• Line height and margins

Theme Integration

Theme settings override individual blockquote formatting. All blockquotes in your book will use the same style for consistency.
