Numbered Chapters
Enable automatic chapter numbering in Options to add sequential titles and intelligent renumbering. This is the default setting.
- Sequential titles - “Chapter 1,” “Chapter I,” or “One”
- Auto-renumbering - Updates when chapters are rearranged
- Table of contents sync - Maintains proper progression
Update Chapter Titles
After rearranging chapters, update titles to match their new positions:
- Click Edit menu
- Select Number Chapters
- Confirm to synchronize all titles
